Project Overview

Construction of two wood-fired kilns in the Bizen tradition for the Can Brull pottery studio:

1. Small fast-fire kiln
2. Large anagama-style kiln

Project Structure

• Small Fast-Fire Kiln - Smaller kiln for regular production firing
• Large Anagama Kiln - Traditional long-fire kiln for special pieces
• Materials Research - Research on fire bricks, clay, and construction materials
• Supplier Research - Spanish suppliers, preferably Barcelona/Catalonia region
• Construction Planning - Build timeline, permits, and site preparation

Status

Phase: Initial research and planning
Priority: High - Core infrastructure for pottery operations
Timeline: TBD based on research findings
