Montseny Natural Park, Catalonia

CAN BRULL is a cultural ecosystem in Montseny. Land, fire, creation, and community in a living masia.

A place in motion

Our aim is to bring together what is usually kept apart.

Can Brull brings together territory, craft, community, and creation as one shared practice. Here, regenerative agriculture, ceramics, food, fire, workshops, and shared life are part of the same living ecosystem.

We are not trying to build a finished place, but to sustain a space where people can learn, produce, share, and transform something together.

An iterative building process

What we are building

We are building a place where people learn by doing. Where land, fire, materials, food, craft, and people are part of the same process.

Can Brull is an invitation to create, share, and inhabit life differently.

Practices that sustain the place

Regenerate

We learn from permaculture, regenerative gardening, and syntropic agroforestry, adapting those practices to Montseny's climate and rhythm.

Produce

We work with ceramics, kilns, materials, tools, and craft processes where learning happens through making, time, and matter.

Live Together

Sustaining Can Brull also means cooking, organizing, caring for spaces, sharing decisions, welcoming people, and building a functional community in daily life.

Upcoming gatherings

Can Brull living agenda

Throughout the year we open the property to gatherings, workshops, and projects that activate different parts of the place: the territory, the workshop, the fire, the table, and the community.

Some gatherings have confirmed dates. Others are open lines that grow through new proposals, collaborations, and processes.

Community

Community in motion

Can Brull grows through the people who pass through, work in the place, and leave something in motion. Artists, ceramists, farmers, facilitators, cooks, volunteers, and researchers live together, learn, and take part in the daily life of the project.

We are open to proposals for workshops, residencies, cultural collaborations, regenerative projects, and community experiences.

Bring a proposal

Workshops, gatherings, cultural practices, or experiences aligned with the spirit of the place.

Develop a residency

Creative, material, ecological, or community processes that need time, space, and territory.

Collaborate with the project

Crafts, building, communication, agroecology, cooking, cultural production, or operational support.

Come as a volunteer

For people ready to help with the garden, ceramics, and daily life through WWOOF or Workaway.
